Corinna Thuss founded Brightwork Events, LLC in 2013. Brightwork Events is an event planning business creating memorable corporate, community and fundraising events.
Corinna has over twenty years experience in event planning. She managed a $1.5M training/conference budget at Mitchell Hutchins, the asset management division of PaineWebber. She coordinated the marketing, travel, accommodations and training materials for 150 attendees at seven special events per year ranging from Texas rodeos to Caribbean destinations. She worked for the National Sales Managers coordinating the mutual funds sales force.
More recently, Corinna served as President for six years of the Atlantic Highlands Elementary School PTO organization. Her PTO experience has served as an important conduit to forming solid relationships with local government, businesses, and residents.
Currently, Corinna serves on the Atlantic Highlands Elementary School Board and acts as a co-coordinator for Atlantic Frightlands. Corinna is the major fundraiser for the FilmOneFest, and she was appointed Co-Director in 2014. This critically acclaimed one-minute film festival has over 2,000 attendees each year and is held outdoors in Atlantic Highlands.
